Visions: The Journal of Rogerian Nursing Science Author Guidelines


  1. Content must reflect some aspect of the Rogers’ Science of Unitary Human Beings (research, theoretical issues, etc.)

  2. The manuscript must not be submitted elsewhere for consideration.

  3. Manuscripts will not be returned.

  4. Authors must follow the format of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (5th edition).

  5. Once a manuscript has been accepted for publication, authors must submit a hard copy plus a copy prepared on a 3 ½ inch disk in Microsoft word.

  6. Once a manuscript is accepted a copyright transfer form must be signed prior to publication.

  7. Authors are responsible for obtaining copyright permissions and paying any fees associated with reprinting copyrighted materials.


Organization of manuscripts:


  1. Identification page (name, address, phone number, affiliation and professional title and running title, and email address)

  2. Title page (no author identification)

  3. Abstract followed by 3-4 key words for indexing.

  4. text of 15-20 pages plus references


Each manuscript will be reviewed by three members of the review panel. Final decisions rest with the editors. Final decisions rest with editors. Manuscripts are accepted for review at any time during the year. Deadlines for the next issue are Dec 1 and June 1. Submit 4 copies of the manuscript to:

Columns


    1. Title page with identification of the author: (name, address, phone number, affiliation and professional title and running title, and email address)

    2. Text of 5-8 pages on either, education, practice, innovations, or controversies related to the Science of Unitary Human Beings.


Columns are reviewed by the editors for grammar and spelling. Editorial changes may be made by the editors for spacing issues.
